Amendment of the Personal and Occupational Pension Schemes (Protected Rights) Regulations

33.  In regulation 13(1) (death before effect given to protected rights: interim arrangements for widow or widower)—

(a) in the heading for “widow or widower” there shall be substituted “widow, widower or surviving civil partner”;

(b) in paragraph (1) for “widow or widower”, in each place where it occurs, there shall be substituted “widow, widower or surviving civil partner”, and

(c) in paragraph (2)(a)(ii) for “widow or widower” there shall be substituted “widow, widower or surviving civil partner”.
