Amendment of section 145(6) of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993
2. In section 145(6) of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993(1) (procedure on an investigation by the Pensions Ombudsman: persons to whom information may be disclosed) after paragraph (m) there shall be added the following paragraphs—
“(n)a body corporate established in accordance with paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 17 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000(2) (the scheme operator of the ombudsman scheme),
(o)an ombudsman as defined in paragraph 1 of that Schedule (interpretation).”.
Subsection (6) was added by Article 155(1) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 and amended by paragraph 70(2) of Schedule 5 to the Bank of England Act 1998 (c. 11), Article 135 of S.I. 2001/3649 and paragraph 20 of Schedule 10 to the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (S.I. 2005/255 (N.I. 1))
