The On-Street Parking (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as The On-Street Parking (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 and shall come into operation on 30th October 2006.
Amendments2.
(a)
by the deletion from Article 2 of the words “or of a traffic warden”
(b)
in Article 15 for the words “any proceedings for an offence of failing to pay any charge under Article 19(1) of the Regulation Order” substitute “any appeal under Articles 13, 16 or 28 of the Traffic Management (Northern Ireland) Order 2005”
(c)
by the deletion of Articles 16 and 18
(d)
“Method of removal19.
Any person removing a vehicle by virtue of Article 17 may do so by towing, or driving the vehicle or in such other manner as is reasonably necessary and may take such measures in relation to the vehicle as are reasonably necessary to enable him to remove it.”
(e)
by the deletion of the number “16,” in Article 20.

This Order amends the On-Street Parking Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 (“the Order”) in consequence of the Traffic Management (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (“the Management Order”).
The effect of the amendment is to delete from Article 2 of the Order the reference to a traffic warden, and to delete from Article 20 the reference to Article 16.
Article 15 of the Order has been amended to take account of Appeals made under the Management Order.
Articles 16 and 18 of the Order have been deleted and Article 19 amended.
