In Part I of Schedule 4 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002(1) (which specifies some of the controlled drugs that are subject to the requirements of regulations 22, 23, 26 and 27 and for which provision is made by certain other regulations), in paragraph 1 after “4-Hydroxy-n-butyric acid” insert “Ketamine”(2).

The substance Ketamine was inserted into Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which specifies drugs which are subject to control under that Act as Class C drugs, by S.I. 2005/3178
