30.—(1) Where relevant material listed in Part A of Schedule 8 has been consigned directly from Switzerland to Northern Ireland, any requirements in Article 7 for that relevant material to be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate shall be deemed to be satisfied by its being accompanied by a Swiss plant passport.
(2) Any requirements in Article 7 for relevant material to be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate shall not apply to relevant material that has been introduced into Northern Ireland from Switzerland where that material is listed in Part B but not in Part A of Schedule 8.
(3) The requirements in Articles 6 and 10 shall not apply to relevant material which is—
(a)accompanied by a Swiss plant passport pursuant to paragraph (1); or
(b)of a description referred to in paragraph (2).
(4) Where any relevant material listed in Part A of Schedule 8 is introduced into Northern Ireland from Switzerland via another part of the European Community any requirements in Part 3 for that relevant material to be accompanied by a plant passport shall be deemed to be satisfied by its being accompanied by a Swiss plant passport.
