The Roads (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007

The Department for Regional Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 and section 56(1) and (5) of the Finance Act 19732.

The Department for Regional Development is a department designated3 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to the requirement for an assessment of the impact on the environment of projects likely to have significant effects on the environment.
