SOCIAL SECURITY
This Order provides for the coming into operation of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 2007 as follows—sections 38(1), 48 and 49 (provisions relating to social security information and age conditions for disability living allowance) and minor consequential amendments and repeals, on 8th October 2007; andsection 54 (provision relating to the power to stop payment of allowances to care home residents), for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, on 8th October 2007 and for all other purposes on 29th October 2007.
