The Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment(1) makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 2(6) of the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007(2):

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007.

Amendment of the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007

2.  For the definition of “the Irish Minister” in Article 2(5) of the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 there shall be substituted the following definition—

““the Irish Minister” means the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources (being a Minister of the Government of Ireland).”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends Article 2(5) of the Electricity (Single Wholesale Market) (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 to provide a revised definition of “the Irish Minister” in consequence of the change in the title of the Minister in question.
