Export of infant formula to third countriesN.I.

26.—(1) A person shall not export to a third country any infant formula which contravenes or fails to comply with—

(a)regulation 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 12, 14(1), (2) or (3), 17 or 19;

(b)the Codex Standard for Infant Formula established by the Codex Alimentarius(1); or

(c)The Food (Lot Marking) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996(2).

(2) A person shall not export to a third country a product represented as suitable for satisfying by itself the nutritional requirements of normal healthy infants during the first four to six months of life unless that product is infant formula.
