Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007, and come into operation on 1st March 2007.

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(1) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.

Amendment of The Animals and Animals Products (Import and Export) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006

2.  In regulation 15(6) of The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006(2), for “1st January 2007” there shall be substituted “1st April 2007”.
