Amendment
2.—(1) After Regulation 15(2)(j) of The Avian Influenza (H5N1 in Poultry) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(1) insert—
“(ja)raw petfood, within the meaning of paragraph 48 of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 1774/2002, which complies with the requirements in Part B of Chapter II of Annex VIII to that Regulation;”.
(2) After paragraph 1(2)(j) of Part IV of Schedule 1 to The Avian Influenza (H5N1 in Wild Birds) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(2) insert—
“(ja)raw petfood, within the meaning of paragraph 48 of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 1774/2002, which complies with the requirements in Part B of Chapter II of Annex VIII to that Regulation;”.
(3) In regulation 5 of The Avian Influenza (Preventive Measures) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(3)—
(a)After paragraph (1) insert—
“(1A) The keeper of poultry on any premises shall notify the Department, in writing, details of the particulars referred to in paragraph (1) within 30 days of the Department requesting such information by notice.”.
(b)In paragraph (2) for the words “paragraphs (1), (3) and (4)” substitute the words—
“paragraphs (1), (1A), (3) and (4)”.
