Coming into operation
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is designated1 for the purpose of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 as regards measures relating to the promotion of rural development.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
