These Regulations may be cited as the Employment and Support Allowance (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 and, subject to paragraph (2), shall come into operation on 27th October 2008.

Regulation 5 shall come into operation immediately before the coming into operation of regulations 12, 16, 19 and 30 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Employment and Support Allowance (Consequential Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20082.
