These Regulations partially transpose in Northern Ireland Articles 3 and 4 of Council Directive 2002/99/EC laying down the animal health rules governing the production, processing, distribution and introduction of products of animal origin for human consumption (OJ No L 18, 23.1.2003, p. 11).

Movement of restricted meatI113

Subject to paragraph (2), a person shall not move or cause or permit to be moved restricted meat to any premises or establishment unless that premises or establishment is designated.

The prohibition in paragraph (1) shall not apply in relation to any movement licensed by the Department.
