Coming into operation-
The Department for Social Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 17 of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 19901 and now vested in it2.

The Department of Finance and Personnel has consented to the making of these Regulations in accordance with Article 17(8) of that Order.
