The Department for Social Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 86(7) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions (2005 Order) (Code of Practice) (Material Detriment Test) (Appointed Day) Order (Northern Ireland) 2009.
2. The day appointed for the purposes of Article 86(7) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) for the coming into operation of the Pensions Regulator Code of practice No. 12: Circumstances in relation to the material detriment test is 29th June 2009.
