The Department for Social Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1C)(a) and (c) and 165(1), (4) and (5) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1) and now vested in it(2).

The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of regulations 9 and 10 should not be referred to it(3).
