Transitional invalidity allowance in long-term incapacity benefit cases

15.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), in regulation 18(2) of the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) (Transitional) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995() (rate of long-term incapacity benefit in transitional cases)—
(a)in sub-paragraph (a) the sum of £18∙65 remains the same;
(b)in sub-paragraph (b) the sum of £12∙00 remains the same; and
(c)in sub-paragraph (c) the sum of £6∙00 remains the same.
(2) In the case of a claimant entitled to long-term incapacity benefit—
(a)the sums specified in regulation 18(2)(a) and (b) shall be reduced to “£15∙00” and “£8∙40” respectively; and
(b)the sum specified in regulation 18(2)(c) shall be increased to “£5∙45”.
