Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Pension (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010.

These Regulations come into operation on 11th November 2010 and, subject to paragraph (3), have effect from 1st April 2007(1).

(2) Schedule 2 has effect from 1st September 2009.

Amendments to regulations

2.—(1) Part 1 of Schedule 1 (Amendments of the Royal Ulster Constabulary Pensions Regulations 1988(2)) has effect.

(2) Part 2 of Schedule 1 (Amendments of the Police Service of Northern Ireland and Police Service of Northern Ireland Reserve (Injury Benefit) Regulations 2006(3)) has effect.

(3) Part 3 of Schedule 1 (Amendments of the Police Pension (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2009(4)) has effect.

(4) Schedule 2 (Amendments of the Police Pension (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2009 relating to reckoning of service) has effect.
