The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 153(6) of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008(1), makes the following Order.
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice and Immigration (2008 Act) (Commencement No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010.
(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.
2. The day on which this Order is made is the day appointed for the coming into operation of Schedule 21 in so far as it is not already in operation..

This Order brings into operation the provisions of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 (c.4) set out in Article 2. The provisions being commenced give the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety the power to remove persons causing nuisance or disturbance from HSS premises.
