The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, being designated1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to units of measurement to be used for economic, health, safety, or administrative purposes, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of that Act.
