Coming into operation
The Department for Regional Development1 makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(4A) and (7) and 14A(1) and (3) of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons (Northern Ireland) Act 19782 and now vested in it3.
It appears to the Department that disabled persons’ parking permits granted in Ireland in accordance with article 43(2) of the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) Regulations 19974 are issued by reference to persons who are, or include, disabled persons.
