CIVIL REGISTRATION

This Order brings into operation on 3rd October 2011 the following provisions of the Civil Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 2011-section 1(1) to (3)(a) and (5) (registration of births);section 5 (time limit on registration of still-births);section 6 (registration of still-births where parents not married);section 9(1) to (4)(a) and (6) (registration of deaths);section 12 (discharge of functions of the Registrar General); andsection 18 (issue of short birth certificate).
