Amendment of the Statutory Sick Pay (General) Regulations N.I.

6.  In regulation 2(1) of the Statutory Sick Pay (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982(1) (persons deemed incapable of work)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (b)(2), for “by reason of his being a carrier, or having been in contact with” substitute “by reason of it being known or reasonably suspected that he is infected or contaminated by, or has been in contact with”; and
