The Department for Social Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 24(2)(b), 69(4)(b), 97D(4)(b), 109(1), 177(2) to (4) and 178(1) of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 19931, and now vested in it2, and Articles 171(4), 236(1), 237(1) and 287(2) and (3) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 20053.
