Where a vacancy occurs on the Statutory Committee or Scrutiny Committee as a result of the resignation, removal or death of a chair, deputy chair or other member of that committee, the Council must—
a
appoint a replacement chair, deputy chair or other member from the reserve list: or
b
where no suitable replacement member is available from the reserve list, appoint a replacement in accordance with these regulations.
