Offences of contravening specified provisions of Regulation 450/2009 N.I.

7.—(1) Subject to the transitional provisions contained in Article 14 (entry into force and application) of Regulation 450/2009, any person who places on the market any active or intelligent material or article which does not comply with the requirements of Article 4 of that Regulation is guilty of an offence M1 .

8.  The competent authorities for the purposes of Article 13 of Regulation 450/2009 are the Food Standards Agency and each district council in its district.
