Registration of still-births following reference to the Coroner
Coroner's certificate or notification18
Where the coroner examines or causes to be examined the body of a child, and is satisfied that the body is that of a still-born child, the form of certificate the coroner shall send to the registrar in pursuance of Article 16(1) of the 1976 Order shall be —
a
Form 8, if an inquest has been held; or
b
Form 9, if the coroner does not consider it necessary to hold an inquest.
