Appointed day

2.  13th February 2012 is the day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Sunbeds Act (Northern Ireland) 2011—

(a) section 4 (duty to provide information to sunbed users, or buyers etc.);

(b) section 5 (duty to display information notice);

(c) section 12 (fixed penalties for certain offences);

(d) section 16 (regulations); and

(e) schedule 2 (fixed penalties)

for the purpose of enabling the Department to make Regulations.
