Local Government (Boundaries) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012

This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50(10) of the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 19721.

In pursuance of section 50(6) of that Act, the Local Government Boundaries Commissioner submitted a report to the Department of the Environment recommending the boundaries and the names of the 11 districts mentioned in section 1 of the Local Government (Boundaries) Act (Northern Ireland) 20082 and the number, boundaries and names of the wards into which each district is to be divided;

This Order gives effect to those recommendations with modifications;
