This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 132, 132A and 165(1), (4) and (5) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1) and now vested in the Department for Social Development(2).
The Secretary of State has made an Order(3) under sections 150, 150A, 151 and 189(1), (4) and (5) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992(4).
Accordingly, the Department for Social Development makes the following Order:
1992 c. 8; section 132 was amended by paragraph 41 of Schedule 7 to the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993 (c. 49) and paragraph 9 of Schedule 4 to the Tax Credits Act 2002 (c. 21), section 3 of the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2012 (c. 3 (N.I.)) and regulation 2(2) of S.R. 2012 No. 120, section 132A was inserted by section 5(1) of the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 (c. 1 (N.I.)) and section 165(1) was amended by paragraph 49(2) of Schedule 3 to the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions, etc.) (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/671)
