Coming into operation
The Department for Social Development makes the following regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(1)(a) and (d), 132(3), (4)(a) and (b) and 171(1), (3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 M1, Articles 14(1) and (4)(a) and (b), 19A(1), (2), (5)(a), (b), (d) to (f) and (6) to (9), 22, 22A, 22B(4) to (6), 22E(3)(a) and 36(2) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 M2, Articles 10, 11 and 74(1) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 M3, and now vested in it M4, Articles 61 and 148(1) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 M5 and section 17(1), (3)(a) and (b) of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 2007 M6.
Regulations 13(1)(c), 14(1)(c), 15(1)(c), 16(1)(c) and 17(4) and (5) are made with the consent of the Department of Finance and Personnel M7.
The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of regulations 13(1)(c), 14(1)(c), 15(1)(c), 16(1)(c) and 17(4) and (5) should not be referred to it M8.
