Coming into operation-

The Department of Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) M1 (2)(d) M2, (3) and (4), 2 M3, 3(1), (2), 3(a) and (c) and (4), 4(1) and (3) M4, 5(1), (3) and (5) M5, 7(1) and (4) M6, 8(1)(a) and (2)(a), 14, 18(1), (2), (4) and (5) to (10) M7, and paragraph (c) of the definition of “employer” in section 34, and paragraph 4 of Schedule 1, paragraph 4 of Schedule 2, Schedule 3, paragraph 4 of Schedule 5, paragraph 3 of Schedule 6, and paragraphs 1(2)(ii), 2(2)(ii) and 5 of Schedule 7 to the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014 M8.
In accordance with section 21 of that Act, the Department of Education has consulted the representatives of such persons as appear to the Department likely to be affected by these Regulations.
In accordance with section 3(5) of that Act, the Department of Finance and Personnel M9has consented to the making of these Regulations.
