Application of the Pay Regulations to an intended parent or a parental order parent

3. The provisions of the Pay Regulations in so far as they apply to statutory shared parental pay (adoption) shall apply to an intended parent(1) or a parental order parent with the modifications set out in Part 2 of these Regulations.

“Intended parent” is defined in section 167ZX(13) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 as modified by S.R. 2015 No. 90.
