CHAPTER 4Membership

Deferred membership29.

A person (P) becomes a deferred member of this scheme in relation to a continuous period of pensionable service if—

(a)

P ceases to be an active member of this scheme in relation to that period of service before P claims a pension under this scheme in respect of that period of pensionable service;

(b)

P is not a pensioner member of this scheme in relation to that period of service; and

(c)

P has at least three months qualifying service or a transfer value payment other than from another occupational pension scheme has been accepted by this scheme in relation to P.
