7.—(1) For the purpose of determining the qualifying forage area, a claimant’s forage area shall be reduced by 1 hectare for every 1.71 of the average number of eligible dairy stocking units for which he is the keeper over a number of dates determined by the Department during the minimum grazing period.
(2) Where paragraph (1) applies, the reduction in the forage area shall first be applied to the forage area which is not severely disadvantaged land, followed by severely disadvantaged land.
