4.—(1) Within the territorial sea or a designated area these Regulations shall apply only to and in relation to the premises and activities to which paragraphs 2(1) and (2), 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 apply.
(2) These Regulations do not apply—
(a)to wells to which the Borehole Sites and Operations Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995(1) apply;
(b)in any case where the Offshore Installations (Safety Case) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(2) apply.
