Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 17(1), 22(4), 23(3), 24(2)(d), 30(a) and 48(2)(a) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 20151 and Article 22(1) of the Welfare Reform and Work (Northern Ireland) Order 20162.

Those powers are exercisable by the Secretary of State by virtue of Article 4(1)(a) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order.
