This Statutory Rule corrects defects in S.R. 1996 No. 198, S.R. 2016 No. 216 and S.R. 2016 No. 226 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of those Statutory Rules.

Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(1)(a), 131(1), 132(3) and (4)(b), 133(1) and 171(1) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992(1), Articles 2(2), 6(5) and 14(1) and (4)(b) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995(2), and Articles 15(4), 16(4) and (5)(a), and 48(1) and (2) of, paragraphs 4(1) and (3) of Schedule 1 and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 to, the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015(3).

Those powers are exercisable by the Secretary of State by virtue of Article 4(1)(a) and (b) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015.
