The Department for Communities makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 69(2)(b) and (4)(b) and 177(2) to (4) of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 19931 and now vested in it2, and sections 42 and 51(6) of, and paragraphs 1(1)(a) and 7 of Schedule 18 to, the Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 20153.
