The Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) (Revocation) Regulations 2020

Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1

The Department for Infrastructure(1) in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of, and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 2 and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018(2), makes the following Regulations.

Citation commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) (Revocation) Regulations 2020 and come into operation immediately before IP completion day.

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(c) applies to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Revocation of Regulations

2. The Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020(d) are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations revoke the Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 (Public Service Obligations in Transport) (Amendment) (EU Exit) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020 S.R. 2020/252 as Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 is not retained EU Law for Northern Ireland.
