Amendment of the Housing Benefit Regulations2

The Housing Benefit Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20066 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2(1) (interpretation) in the definition of “young individual”7—
a
in paragraphs (b) and (c) for “22 years” substitute “25 years”;
b
for paragraph (e) substitute—

who has attained the age of 16 years and to whom paragraph (1A) applies;
c
after paragraph (e) insert—
ea
who has attained the age of 25 years and to whom paragraph (1C) applies;
