Citation, commencement and interpretation1

These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 9) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 and shall come into operation at 4.00 am on 19th March 2021.

In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 M3.
Amendment of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20202
The principal Regulations are amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 7.
Amendment to regulation 33
In regulation 3(10) (requirement to provide information), for “14th day” substitute “

Transitional and saving provision8
In relation to any person who arrived in Northern Ireland before the coming into operation of these Regulations, the principal Regulations apply as if the amendments made by regulations 3 to 7 had not been made.
