Where, under the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) Regulations 2020 (the “No.2 Regulations”), an offence has been committed but not disposed of before these Regulations come into operation, the No.2 Regulations continue in operation (as they were immediately before these Regulations come into operation) for the purpose of disposing of that offence.

Where—
a
by virtue of regulation 2 of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) Regulations 2020 (the “No.2 Regulations”), the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 remained in operation for the purpose of disposing of an offence committed under them but not so disposed of before the No.2 Regulations came into operation; and
b
that offence remains to be disposed of immediately before these Regulations come into operation;
the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 (and regulation 2 of the No.2 Regulations) shall remain in operation for the purpose of disposing of that offence.
