The Superannuation (Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022

Coming into operation

1st April 2022

The Department of Finance makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order(1) and now vested in it(2).

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022, shall come into operation on 1 April 2022 and have effect from 1 April 2022.

Addition to list of offices

2.  There shall be added to the list of offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, the office of Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate(3).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order adds the office of Victims of Crime Commissioner Designate to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, for which the Department of Finance may make pension schemes. It has effect from 1st April 2022.
