Amendment of the Regulation and Improvement Authority (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005

2.—(1) The principal regulations shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraph:

(2) In regulation 6 (Frequency of Inspections)—

(a) in paragraph (1)(a) omit the word “and”;

(b) after paragraph (1)(a) insert “(aa) in the case of an independent hospital where the treatment provided includes dental treatment under general anaesthesia or sedation, a minimum of once in every 24 month period; and”;

(c) in paragraph (6) after “following year” add “and “24 month period” means a period commencing on and including 1st April in any year and ending on 31st March 2 years later.”.
