The Department of Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(2) of the Damages (Return on Investment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022(1), makes the following Order.
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Damages (Return on Investment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022.
Appointed Day
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Damages (Return on Investment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 is 10th February 2022—
(a)section 1 (Assumed return on investment);
(b)section 2 (Process for setting rate of return);
(c)the Schedule.
