The Department of Finance1, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 3, 5(1), 5(2), 5A(1) and 9 of, and paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 17C, 21 and 22 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) Order 19792 and now vested in it3, and after consultation with the Building Regulations Advisory Committee and such other bodies as appear to be representative of the interests concerned4, makes the following regulations:
