The Social Security (Infected Blood Capital Disregard) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023

The Department for Communities1, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(1)(a) and (d), 132(3) and (4)(b), 132A(3) and 171(1) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19922, Articles 14(1) and (4)(b) and 36(2) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 19953, and now vested in it4, sections 15(3) and (6)(b) and 19(1), (2)(a) and (3) of the State Pension Credit Act (Northern Ireland) 20025, sections 17(1) and (3)(b) and 25(2)(a) of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 20076 and Article 48(1) and (2)(a) of, and paragraph 4(1)(a) and (3)(a) of Schedule 1 to, the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 20157.

The powers are exercisable by the Department for Communities by virtue of Article 2 to the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (Cessation of Transitory Provision) Order 20208.
