The Childcare (Early Years Provision Free of Charge) (Extended Entitlement) Regulations 201631 are amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

In regulation 8 (qualifying paid work and work outside role as a foster parent: time off in connection with sickness or parenting), in paragraph (1)—
a
in sub-paragraph (n) after “section 80EA of the Employment Rights Act 1996” insert “or Article 112EA of the Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996”
; and
b
in sub-paragraph (o) after “Part 12ZD of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992” insert” “or Part 12ZD of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992”
.
